11/18/2010 Room Trashing Dream

I dreamt that my brother kicked down my door and sat on me while I was lieing in bed
(he does this often in real life)
He was angry for some reason, and he proceeded to spit on my bed and the floor of my room. He refused to clean it, so i retaliated. I ran up the stairs to his room and threw eggs everywhere. Then i heard crashing noises. I saw him (In the 3rd person, not from my dreamself) destroying my bookcase and trying to pull my ceiling fan down. I destroyed his room for a few seconds, and then went downstairs and made peace with him.

This is a symbol of my relationship with my brother. We are good friends and never fight anymore. Earlier that day in writing class I wrote about my relationship with my brother. I believe that the writing assignment prompted my dream about my brother. Sometimes even the smallest events in a day will manifest that night in a dream.

The Importance of Dreams

There are those who say dreaming is meaningless and useless. I disagree. Dreams are derived from your thoughts and emotions, and while some may be arbitrary or insignificant, they are always relative to you.
People question things. They don't know what they want, the question whether they truely want something or truely love someone. They second-guess themselves. Your dreams are a true expression of how you feel. Loved ones will appear, dead or alive. Enemies will confront you. Guilt will haunt you. Your true desires will be expressed.
My dreams have told me many things, such as my true fears, who I trust, what I regret. Your dreams will escape any denial that conscious mind will summon. If you miss a person they will come. If you are doing something you know to be wrong, but deny that fact to yourself, the decision will manifest in dreams in some form.
Dreams can also give you infinite power. If you become an avid dreamer,(I am practicing for this) You can make anything appear, live your fantasies, do literally anything you can imagine. Your dreams can release the stress of wanting things you cannot have. In my dreams I have flown, ruled nations, become rich and famous.

If this sounds appealing to you, then you relize the importance of dreams

11/9/10 Fire Drill Dream

I had a dream I was in math class with my two friends who didn't go to my school. Another one of my friends sat in the back row playing with dice. The four of us were bored and not following the lesson. The fire alarm sounded, and a mass of students began flushing out of room. I was forced out by the pushing and pulling of the other kids. When we got to the backdoor of the school, I managed to sneak under a stairwell to the left of the exit. My friends motioned for me to leave but I ignored them. The others evacuating forced them out of the building.
I sat crosslegged, as everybody left. The siren had stopped and I was alone. I stared at the wall, and spotted a large splotch of green paint. It began to move on the wall. It fell, splatered, then reformed on the wall with monkey-like acrobatics. I watched, entertained and mezmorized. Eventually it dryed as a green line on the gray brick wall. A teacher walked by and noticed me. He was a sterotypical gay male. I was very bothered by his presence, as if he made a pass at me. He suggested I exit the building "Because it would burn me up". I told him to go away. He left. Now the "motorcycle" teacher appeared. He wore a jacket emblazioned with the words "automobile-ed" on it.
(This stemmed from me reading my friend's blog on motorcycles)
He gave me a nod, and left. Now the intercom announced a "code red fire drill". That apparently meant there was a real fire. One of my teachers; a short, bald, man with glasses and a face devoid of emotion appeared in full fireman garb. He looked pleased with his new job.
(In real life he is a depressed highschool teacher who gets little respect from anyone)
He threw me over his shoulder, then kicked down a sidedoor and took me out of the burning building.
I awoke.

11/1/10 Dream

I had a dream that I was in a small home with two plain looking rooms. I had a document, and I wanted to destroy it.
(I think this part of the dream derived from my anxiety of report cards coming out the next week)
Rather than rip it up or throw it out, I desided to set it on fire. I lite a match and brought it to the paper. It ignited, and I placed it on a low, wooden table. I walked away to the other room for a minute and saw smoke. I ran back to the table, which had begun to catch flames. In a frenzy I blew out the blaze. The smoke filled my nostrils, then my lungs. Losing control of my muscles from lack of oxygen I fell forward. As soon as my head made contact with the table, the whole building and everything in it shattered like glass. I fell throught the fragments of the world into a blue sky. I found myself flying. The pieces of the home disentegrated and now i was in open sky. I regained body control and flew through the air. I soared tirelessly until I awoke.
